MODARTTからKarsten Collectionのお知らせがメールで届いたので、Pianoteqを6.7.0に更新。更新内容は↓
6.7.0 (2020/03/18)
・Introducing the Karsten Collection.
・Resonance equalizer added in the equalizer panel (Pianoteq STD and PRO).
・Keyboard shortcut for MIDI panic added.
・Fix issue where the pedal noise was sometimes interrupted by a silent keypress.
・Fix issue with multi-channel output on Linux.
↑こんな感じで、「Resonance equalizer」が追加されたらしい。取説によると『Two other features, Res Eq and Res Dur, allow respectively to equalize the sympathetic resonances and to modify their duration.』とのことなので、レゾナンス付きのEQとゆーことではなく、「sympathetic resonances」用のEQみたい。
起動して確認してみると、これまでのEQは「Main」となり、「Res Eq」と「Res Dur」が追加された模様。前者が共鳴に対するEQで、後者は共鳴の長さを周波数ごとに調整する機能らしい。Mainと違ってエフェクトのプリセットとして保存読込には対応してないのかな？
Karsten Collectionは「Original」付きのプリセットだと発音域が狭かったり音程が不審だったりするけど、それ以外のプリセットは鍵盤が拡張されたり音程が整ってたり。『An "Original" preset delivers the sound of each instrument in its current state, whereas other presets attempt to reproduce the sound of the instruments when they were brand new.』とゆーことらしい。私的に物欲が盛り上がる音色ではないけれど、こーゆー昔の鍵盤楽器を取り上げてこそPianotqよね。
Pianoteq 6.7.0の「J. Salodiensis virginal」。
毎度のパターンだと来週か再来週には6.7.1が出る気もするが、そー言へば6.6.1は出てなかった。さて、今回はどーかな？
そんな中、ここ数日YBB ADSLが3.5Mbps付近で安定しており、モデムの電源入れなおしても復活しないので、先月やったばかりだけど時間外電話で回線調整。普段は時間外電話2回で調整に入るのだけれど、何故か今回は3回で調整となる。就寝前には7Mbps付近に復活したので一安心(^_^)
