と、ゆー訳で、Surge XTの「Twist」オシレーターの確認。Surge XT User Manualのこちらにはパラメーターの解説が無いのでPlaits User manualを参照するが、Surge XTに表示されるモード名やパラメーター名が異なるので少々面倒(^_^;ちびちびいぢってみると、パラメーターの上から4つがPlaitsの「HARMONICS」「TIMBRE」「MORPH」「AUX」に対応している模様。

↑と多種多様。単体だとノイズしか出ないよーなタイプもあるけど、単体なら環境音、他と組み合わせてアタックとかに使えるかな？「Vowels/Speech」のSegmentでは「Yellow Magic Orchestra」とか言っているよーに聴こえるけど、ひょっとして「We Are Yellow Magic Orchestra」？

私的に音作りでは見慣れない「LPG」をStartpageしてみると、「液化石油ガス(Liquefied Petroleum Gas)」ではなく「ローパスゲート(Low Pass Gate)」のことらしく、フィルターとアンプのディケイをまとめて調整するみたい。蛇足ながら、Surge XTは操作子をダブルクリックすると初期値になるけど、「Twist」では初期値に意味は無い気がする。いちおー一通りお試ししてみたが、「Twist can be more CPU demanding than most other Surge XT oscillator algorithms.」なこともあり、私的使用頻度は低いかも。
