ふと気づくとMODARTT Pianoteqが6.4.0。更新履歴によると↓
・New instrument: the C. Bechstein Digital Grand.
・Revoicing of grand pianos Steinway D, Steinway B and K2.
・The VST3 plugin is now able to take into account the "tuning" parameter of VST3 note events (useful for users of alternative tunings in Dorico).
・When navigating in the MIDI sequence, Pianoteq will restore the position of the pedals.
・SysEx messages are now kept in midi files when saving (instead of being removed).
・The metronome tic toc sound has been slightly changed.
・The tempo / time signature of the metronome is now embedded in midi files recorded with Pianoteq.
・When using external reverb impulses, Pianoteq will store (if possible) the path of the WAV file relative to the Pianoteq presets folder, or to the user home folder.
↑こんな感じ。ちなみに、6.3.0の後、少し前に6.3.1で『Fixed issue in the attack of some notes at low velocities.』が出てたのは見送り。今回はC. Bechstein Digital Grandが追加されたとのことなのでデモ版を頂戴してインストール。

何はともあれ「C. Bechstein Digital Grand」とゆー命名が「？」で、これまでなら現物の生ピアノの名前が入るところでわ？ひょっとして生ピアノの名前を使わせてもらえなかったのかと思ったら、どーやら既にサンプリングされた情報を元にモデリングしたみたい。GoogleさんするとC. Bechstein Digital GrandとゆーKONTAKT用の製品があるよーで、フォーラムにはPianoteq C. Bechstein Digital Grand vs. C. Bechstein Digital Grandなんてスレッドも。
私的には自力で録音からモデリングまでしてこそのPianoteqとゆー感もあるけど、規制のサンプルを元にモデリングしてものーぷろぶれむなのであれば、今後はそちらの手法で安価なモデルが出てくるかも。ちなみに、C. Bechstein Digital GrandはKONTAKT用が209.24€らしいが、Pianoteq用だと他と同じく49.00€で、加えて今月末までは半額だそーな。毎度のことながら現物の音を知らないので似てるかどーかは不明だが、デモ版で軽く遊んだ感じでは、少し硬めな印象。
